New Website
------------------
Have you ever been stuck at work wondering what is going on in Egypt? Well, not anymore.
eGenesis has launched a new website that aims to help players and potential players get a better feel for A Tale in The Desert III, its features, and its community. For this purpose, the website takes advantage of Flash and XML technology to bring you an Event Calendar that will bring up-to-the-minute game news live to your web browser.

Z and Levin’s trip to Wexford, Pa.
------------------
Last week, when Levin Stevens (Office Manager, Art Guy, and Crime Fighting Ninja) and I went to Wexford, Pennsylvania to look at hotels and conference centers to host the upcoming player meet, we also took the opportunity to scout out potential locations for the new eGenesis office.
After scouting out a slew of places for the player meet, we decided that the Official Hotel and Meeting center will be the Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh North. We also got rates across the parking lot at a Comfort Inn for a more economic choice, but both hotels were great.
Levin was overly impressed by the Sheraton’s indoor/outdoor pool system. I was more interested in the 90-something-year-old man walking around in his swim trunks hitting on the young women. It’s something to aspire to be.
The hotel was great, it had a Sports bar, café style restaurant, fountains, and a jazzercise area right in the main court yard. One of the coolest parts is some of the rooms have an all glass wall so you can look down at all the people at the café or sports bar.
The Comfort Inn although a cheaper choice is still a great hotel. All the room where newly renovated. Great beds, a mini fridge in each room and like the Sheraton free wireless internet through the entire hotel. Plus with the comfort inn you get a free continental breakfast and 15% off the two restaurants next door, Max and Erma’s and the Long Horn Steak house.
Unfortunately this trip did not find us a new office. It’s going to take time to find a unique place to accommodate Mr. Teppy’s extra curricular hobbies. ( DDR, miniature golf, grilling, hunting Native Americans, etc…). While speaking with the realtor however, we did find out that Wexford PA dose not actually exist. Levin and I wasn’t really sure what we was talking about and have decided to go for a new realtor.
Surrounded by trees and hills, Wexford is no bustling metropolises. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to do. Numerous restaurants and shopping centers are all within walking distance from the hotel, and hopefully our new office. It seems like a nice place.

Newest Demi-Pharaoh

Demi-Pharaoh voting results: M:TheDude:431 F:SunnyOne:401
Qetesh had some interesting thoughts on the DP elections so far. “The elections in Tale 3 seem to all be heading toward having 2 finalists, and whether it's coincidence or not the past two elections have had a prominent Tale 1 player running against a prominent Tale 2 player. I'm wondering if the playerbase is polarized in any way - T1 vs T2 regulars? A larger proportion of the playerbase seems to be voting in DP elections - and I hope interest in it will stay high, but it has tended to decrease as the tale went on in the past. Perhaps a two candidate system will keep interest high in Tale 3."
