eGenesis Invites Players Back For a Sneak Preview of Telling 5
Experience a brand new mining system and participate in events and
competitions.
Pittsburgh, PA- April 14, 2010 - eGenesis is pleased to announce a sneak
peek at a brand new mining system which will go live in A Tale in the Desert
(ATitD), telling 5, just a few months away. The "Welcome Back" weekend will
start on Friday, May 7, 2010 at Noon and ends Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Noon
(all times Eastern). Events will be live on both the main shard and Bastet.
Mining has seen a revamp in every telling. The new system is yet another
version of mining, and is unlike the previous ones, in that it has a built
in social mechanism and introduces a new mini-game mechanic to ATitD.
"As I've coded this mining system, naturally I've had to playtest it," says
Andrew Tepper, President of eGenesis. "Frequently I'll find that I've been
'playtesting' for upwards of a half hour, when I'll realize that I should be
coding, not playing!"
For more information on the mining system, please read the most recent
newsletter on ATitD.com.
In addition to the sneak preview of telling 5s mining system, there will be
a medley of conflict tournaments and some exciting roleplaying events held
over the weekend.

About A Tale in the Desert
A Tale in the Desert is a unique massive online game. It has absolutely no
combat and death is rare. Within the game is one of the most complex trade
skill systems that have ever been created. This is coupled with tests in
various disciplines that challenge players to work together or against each
other. There is a discipline to meet almost any interest. Perhaps most
unique is that the game actually has an ending and a new telling starts up
with players back at ground zero.
